Summer School
Summer is the most magical time of childhood – a season when lifelong memories are made. Montessori Universe invites children to take part in a unique summer school experience filled with discovery, creativity, and learning. The program consists of themed 5-day modules designed to engage students in a variety of enriching and educational activities.
Program I: Journey Around the World & the Fascinating World of Animals (in Collaboration with Tbilisi Zoo)
Students will explore the animal kingdom, learning about animal behavior, their role in ecosystems, natural habitats, and their interdependence with other living organisms. The interactive program is tailored to different age groups and includes a wide range of engaging activities.
Theoretical sessions at Montessori Universe:
• Endangered species;
• Human impact on nature.
Practical sessions at Tbilisi Zoo:
Students will:
• Take part in the daily care of zoo animals alongside professional staff (feeding, cleaning, environmental enrichment);
• Hear the individual stories of the animals;
• Learn basic rules of behavior and safety in natural environments;
• Understand the importance of biodiversity conservation for human well-being.
Practical session at Montessori Universe:
• Creating a 3D animal model (using clay or recycled materials).
Journey Around the World:
Students will embark on an exciting journey across continents and cultures. Through Montessori-based activities, children will explore different countries and discover their nature, music, traditions, and ways of life.
The program includes:
• Introduction to continents and development of global awareness;
• Exploration of cultural diversity through play and art;
• Themed crafts and culinary activities;
• Learning through movement, music, and storytelling;
• Development of social skills and independence.
Program details:
• Age group: 8-12 years;
• Duration: 5 days;
• Dates: June 22-27;
• Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM;
• Meals: Two meals per day included;
• Locations: Montessori Universe (near Lisi Lake), Tbilisi Zoo (64 M. Kostava Street);
• Fee: 760 GEL (discount: 10 % discount for siblings).
Note: On 3 out of the 5 days, children should be brought directly to Tbilisi Zoo, while pick-up will take place at the Montessori Universe building.
At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate of participation.
